Purified Terephthalic Acid (Purified Terephthalic Acid, abbreviated as PTA), chemical formula C₈H₆O₄, appears as a white crystalline powder at room temperature, with purity ≥99.5%. It is the core monomer for polyester (PET) production, widely used in chemical fibers, packaging, and film industries.
